(Note: The title was supposed to be "Dedicated to the February 14 Sermon", yet the title was too long to be put in.)

At one time, my school had a sermon about a law that permitted certain Ungodly things (i.e. homosexual couples). Since they chose February 14 arbritrarily, I had the day off. I drew this (although a lot later) in honor of the day.

Despite me practicing drawing them, I made a certain ammount of errors: Ms. Sakaki's eyes look weird and like a Charmander's, Ms. Sakaki's and Kaori's hands look wrong, Kaori's chest is too flat, and she looks like she is leaning back.

And despite what a lot of people say, I say that Kaori IS NOT a lesbian! She just admires Ms. Sakaki extremely, and I am a homophobe! (That does not mean that I will be violent/hateful towards homosexuals; it means that I do not aprove of their actions, me being a Christian.)

P.S. Good news for Christians: the law was not passed, so God still has an upper hand there! However, the new Puerto Rican civil code provokes the changing of all that. Fortunately, it is still a rough draft, so there is still time to pray that the new Civil Code will be acceptable in God's eyes when it is passed!


Update (January 10): I do not want to do a full on addition (even though I have composed one), yet all I will say is this: I am not the close-minded bigot you think I am.

Update (March 29): Meh, you would not believe me. Just look at all the comments people left on this picture and my replies to them.

Update (April 18): I cannot respond to any "pro-gay" comments, since I have some things to clear up in my life first (as in eliminating hypocrysy). However, I will leave you with a few comments:

* There is a difference between bigotry and prudence.
* "Gay-bashing" is as wrong as the gay lifestyle.
* This picture was not supposed to offend anybody, but if it did (which I know that it did), then pardon me. Also, I was not trying to bash homosexuals with this. I simply drew this out of inspiration.
* I...sounded kind of drongo when I called myself a homophobe, right?

Update (July 30): Considering what I have stated above and what you have done here, I say that a lot of you (but not all) have acted hpocritical. I mean that you are calling me (basically) a close-minded bigot, yet you are bigger bigots yourselves. I drew this because I was inspired by a sermon that resonated with my beliefs, NOT to offend anybody. I also made that Journal since I was tired of people attacking me for my beliefs. I did not go to anyone else's page/deviation and immideately bashed gays on it; I just kept my problem to my dA account. Also, in my Journal, I pleaded for tolerance. Your response? You desecrated my work, made a lot of senseless, hateful comments, added stuff to my Encyclopedia Dramatica article, mocked me in 4chan, and basically gave me heartbreak. All of that sounds like bigotry to me.

But still, all I did was present my views, and you treat me like trash? You call that "tolerance", especially since there is the freedom of expression and laws against discrimination due to religious beliefs? And if you were simply recting to the pent-up rage you had due to being gay-bashed (or due to all of the abuse gays had), you should know that I was not the same guy who bashed you. In all seriousness, the gay-basher is even worse off, since Jesus said to "hate the sin and love the sinner" and said to Pharisees ("holier than thou" people at the time) that fornicators and prostitutes are ahead of them regarding Heaven? (And I know why; Christians are supposed to be like Jesus, and Jesus never bashed a gay.)

I did not mean to cause pain to you. I simply had a different viewpoint. Please... -.-;

(And yes, someone told me about the author of Azumanga Daioh! confirming Kaori's homosexuality, and I believe that someone. *sigh*)

Update (Sep 19): I know this is weeks old, but the 1913 law was repealed, so homosexuals can go to Massachusets, "marry" there, and go back to their home state and stay as a "married" couple!
